Sometimes their comes a band that just makes you have hope that the genre is alive. DRUIDS are the calvary sweeping down and destroying the zombies that have infiltrated Metal. Headbanging Riffage to liven up any dance hall, to subdue any angsty teen bedroom, or just to pass the time pondering the state of the World. DRUIDS is one band that should never be overlooked for bringin the Classic Metal riffage upon our ears.

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed!

For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art? But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space.
